Loved it. Simple. SIncere. Lovely.
The quality of the connection is almost ephemeral .Yet it's the surprisingly
callow and at the same time fulfilling depth of sensibility and affection in a
sea of shallow reality of pragmatism, routine, ingenuine feelings and trite
relationships that makes this connection so special.

The whisper, the whisper, we all want to know what Bob said to Charlotte in that gut-wrenching final scene don't we? Well, the fact is we will probably never know. Sofia Coppola has said in many interviews that we aren't meant to know because it is a private moment between Bob and Charlotte. I tend to think he told her his AOL IM screename... :) But seriously, .... What does Bill Murray's Character say to Scarlett Johansson's? Is it a "thank you... it was great" or an "I love you..." or an "I'll be seeing you soon, don't worry..."?

I would like him to stay, but he has family. I would like him to stay, but she's married. I would like them to have a unique relationship, but that's not what happens in real life. When you think you've FOUND SOMETHING, it's not what it seems. "confusion.confusion. who can tell the difference between the sea, and what's reflected in it"...May be the story wasn't about that at all. May be it's only what I want it to be.
I know, he left... because he's always been ranning, and she is too confused.
