We will start off the tutorial using this picture:

1. First we’re going to add the base color for the picture. Make a new raster layer and fill it with the color #e4f800. Set this layer to Darken at 100%.
2. Now we need to add some depth to the picture. Duplicate the base and drag it to the top. Then go to Image » Adjustments » Black & White. Match your settings to mine:

3. Set this black and white layer to Screen and you’re all done!
