In the 1990’s, Donald Trump, bought the famed Maralago estate in Palm Beach. This week it is being reported, a Russian businessman, Dmitry Rybolovlev, bought the property from Trump for $100 million dollars.

Rybolovlev plans to tear the house down. This news will not sit well with Palm Beach locals, as the house is a 90-year-old landmark.

An oceanfront Palm Beach mansion Donald Trump owns is under contract for sale to an unnamed foreign buyer for $100 million - the property's official asking price - according to sources close to the billionaire real estate mogul.

Made his fortune in fertilizer; entered the business in 1990, after studying medicine at the Perm Medical Institute. In 1995, named chairman of the board of Uralkali, Russia's largest producer of potassium fertilizers, founded by the Soviets in the 1930s. In 2007 listed the company in London, raising $1 billion; by February 2008, he was worth $12.8 billion. Fertilizer market came to halt late last year, pushing down Uralkali's stock. Uralkali has recently agreed with the Russian government to pay reparation costs following the 2006 flooding of one of its potash mines.
