Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have been talking about their first screen kiss in "High School Musical 3: Senior Year". Our favourite high school sweethearts - who are also a couple off-screen - finally get to lock lips in the latest instalment of the Disney phenomenon.

“It was great to see the characters grow in the relationship, it was a really sweet part of the movie,”  - Vanessa told Entertainmentwise.

And Zac claims they didn’t need a lot of practice for their big make-out moment. “It was a cool moment. We didn’t practice though,” - he confides to Entertainmentwise.

The couple have had plenty of time to practice after hours since becoming an item in 2007, but have never actually touched lips in the films.

“I think the kiss was well-deserved this time round,” - joked Zac.
