«Таинственная игра» – экранизация одноименной манги Ватасэ Ю. В манге восемнадцать томов, а в аниме – пятьдесят две серии. Вполне соизмеримые размеры? Только не в случае «Таинственной игры». Манга, хотя и немного непоследовательная, если обращать внимание на характеры и поступки, но тем не менее не оставляет после себя такого чувства недоумения - в отличие от аниме. И даже выпущенные позднее OVA не спасают ситуацию, ибо добавляют к сюжету, но не поясняют.
