I was heading home from morning classes and somehow remembered what president Obama said recently. It was his you did not build that speech. As I was going through it in my mind, thinking whether he is write or wrong(he is neither because neither is a whole) some fancy idea intrudered my mind, I decided to fix a spech in a kaffka way, trying to push it to a more absurd way, thus reveal reality which underlies there. Small degression needed before we start. I am a business student, so the work going to be onesided in that respect. Nonetheless I think it is an art to build up your own successful company from the ground, and now you will have a comparison.

Original Warren speech:
"I hear all this, you know, 'Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever.' No. There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody. You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn't have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did. Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea. God bless — keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is, you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along."

My interpretation:
I hear all this, you know, 'Well, this is class warfare, this is whatever.' No. There is nobody in this country who got talanted/gifted on his own — nobody. You write a poetry, a song, or painting out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your thoughts to the paper, canvas, sounds with the pans, pencils, notes and brushes that the rest of us paid for. You hired orchestra, printers, gelleriests the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your workshops and music rooms because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn't have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your workshops and music rooms — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did. Now look, you built a work of art and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea. God bless — keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is, you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.

Original Obama Speech:
"There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me – because they want to give something back. They know they didn't – look, if you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own. I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)
If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don't do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires."

What I had in my mind:
"There are a lot of talanted, successful Americans who agree with me – because they want to give something back. They know they didn't – look, if you've been talanted, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own. I'm always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so creative. There are a lot of creative people out there. It must be because I worked miracles harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something – there are a whole bunch of gifted people out there. (Applause.)
If you were talanted, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to create. Somebody invested in pens and penciles. If you've got a masterpice – you didn't make that. Somebody else made that happen. The Sixteen Chapel didn't get invented on its own. Church created the chapel so that all the artists could make money off their paintings.

The point is, is that when we are talanted, we are artistic because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don't do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires."

Argh! Someone as smart and talanted as me has done it before!

"If teachers have been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great principal or school board president. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable school system that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in school buildings. If you’ve had higher graduation rates with your students — you didn’t do that. Somebody else made that happen. Parents and Sesame Street helped prepare those kids. PBS didn’t get invented on its own. Government funds made that happen."

"If you’ve been successful on screen, you didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was so talented. There are a lot of talented people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there’s a whole bunch of hardworking folks out there. If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great agent or lawyer somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this fantasy world that we have allowed to continue. Somebody invested in roads and bridges for people to get to theaters. If you’ve got an Academy Award — you didn’t earn that. Somebody else made that happen."
