I am currently working on a major studio reorganization project, figuring out the best ways to keep my abundance of craft materials in order and looking nice, so I've been looking for ideas online. Wow, there are some amazing craft rooms out there! So I've rounded up a collection of organization ideas, rooms, and resources, for ultimate organization motivation!
The above two photos are from my studio (back when I first moved in and things were neater), to show you a couple of my ideas. At the top, I nailed thin nails into a scrap of wood, diagonally (pointing upwards) for a thread holder, and I covered a basic cork board with a piece of vintage fabric for a crafty inspiration board. And then above, I got a bunch of cheap closet organizers from Ikea to hold a closet full of yarn and other materials. Below, you can see how I've wrapped fabric around pieces of recycled cardboard for neat boxes of fabric.
