      Catherine Anderson занимается живописью уже более  тридцати лет. Она родилась в Чикаго и получила художественное образование в American Academy of Fine Art, University of Cincinnati and Academy of Art College in San Francisco. Она является членом многих акварельных обществ: American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Society, Watercolor West, California Watercolor Association and Knickerbocker Artists. Работы Catherine публикуются в журналах и книгах, посвящённых искусству акварели (North Light Books, Splash 5 - Best of Watercolor: The Glory of Color; Exploring Color; and The Best of Flower Painting). О творчестве Catherine Anderson много пишут в известных изданиях, и она, в свою очередь, публикует свои статьи об акварельной живописи для журнала Magazine Watercolor Magic и пишет книги ("Basic Watercolor Answer Book") , а также, Catherine является одним из редакторов журнала  The Artist’s Magazine. Она была представлена в издании "Who’s Who of American Women" и "Who’s Who in America." Акварельные работы Catherine Anderson много выставлялись в музеях и галереях Америки и Китая.
