Reviews: The cold winter landscape of the cover art and cool band logo are not the least misleading. This is great Nordic folk /Black Metal art. The atmospheric and melodic sound of acoustic guitars is present on every single composition, gracing the soundscape with sweet harmonies so dear to my ears and soul. Adding to the spirit of Nordic land, nature samplings in the shape of wind, water and birds open every song. In opposition or completing the sonic wall are solid Black Metal elements including nice distorted riffs and distant rasps. With tempo variations come different moods, from the fast/grim Black Metal standards to a slow, bone crushing doomy style. The emotions felt move between calmness, sadness, melancholia and even mysticism. M.Lehto had the brilliant idea to close this CD with a beautiful acoustic piece including flutes and strings ending this opus in perfect harmony.
