Doctors announced this morning that both Travis Barker (former Blink-182 drummer) and DJ AM can expect a full recovery from the serious burns they suffered in a Learjet crash on Friday in South Carolina.

Dr. Fred Mullins, medical director of the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, said both musicians remain in "critical but stable" condition, but neither had injuries other than the burns. (See video below.)

The doctor reminded reporters that,

Anybody who can survive a plane crash is pretty lucky." 

He did not speculate on how long it would take for Travis and DJ to completely recover, but he did say with burns like these it can take up to a year.

Travis was burned on his torso and lower body and DJ (Adam Goldstein) was burned on one arm and part of his scalp, according to a statement from their families.

The statement also said:

The families wish to thank fans from all over the world for their prayers and concern. Deepest sympathy is expressed to the loved ones of those who perished in the crash."
