TOTAL CRASHES 6,159,000
ECONOMIC COSTS — U.S.
- $230.6 Billion
ECONOMIC COSTS — CALIFORNIA
- $20.655 Billion
Costs per crash to state and local governments:
- Approximate Cost per Minor Crash $22,000
- Approximate Cost per Fatal Crash $500,000
