Jay was upset and depressed. In her opinion, bad luck stuck to her after she had fallen for Destine. Being smart and good-looking didn't give her any chance with him, she was only able to fascinate Page, but he had left her because of me.
The sun was drowning in the waves of Pacific Ocean. That was the first time for me to be on the east coast. Or west? Oh yeah, the west coast of the continent and the east coast of the ocean. In Australia, I could only see Pacific Ocean dawn. I like sunset more. The show was unusual for me and consequently charming.
Although, it was regular for Jay. She left me admiring the sunset and chased Destine. After a while, she came back.
"Is he gone?" I asked.
Jay fell on the ground. "I don't know who he is supposed to be now."
"Calm down, pal, he's not the only one."
"Ya mean?" Jay shouted. "He is! And you know it!"
"Gee... You're weird. Canya tell me what had happened between you?"

She told me what had happened after Destine shared his powers to me. Sums similar took place before the accident, and they ended up arguing. A couple of minutes ago when he brought us to the shore and left, she chased him to apologize and make ev'rything clear. I didn't know what the hell took place then because she stopped her story to cry.
"That's the drop, isn't it?" I asked.
"Got that right! The drop which overfilled my patience. I'm going down!"
"Maybe you shouldn't."
"Gee, Jumper, I don't wanna live anymore!"
"You’ll forget him, I know..."
"Never mind! He broke my heart and it won't be forgotten!"
"Cut it out, Jay. If you had some steady feelings, he would know that. He's a telepath, you know. And now he realizes that your broken heart will get fixed in no time."
"You're a moron, Warakurna!"
"Jay..."
"A total Australian moron! And you think I am! You've got a crush on him and you're tryin' to steal him from me! I wish you went down!"
"She got crush on WHOM?"
We jumped up surprised. Who was that?
