Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace play their final date with Nickelback tonight (Monday, March 19th) as the Canadian superstars close their U.S. tour in Orlando, Florida. Although it wasn't on this trip, Breaking Benjamin frontman Ben Burnley said that Three Days Grace previously provided him with one of his favorite moments as a performer: "The way I warm up vocally, I'll just, like, put a band in that I like and sing along to it like really loud. And I used to warm up to a Three Days Grace song that I really, really dug. So I just nonchalantly said to them, 'Hey, you know, someday I just want to come up and do that song with you one time,' and one of the last days of the tour for us, I went up and did it with them. I was so happy, I was like a little kid. I was like, 'I can't believe I just did that.'"
The song Burnley sang with Three Days Grace was "Take Me Under," from the band's self-titled 2003 debut.
Breaking Benjamin will reissue its latest album, Phobia, in a "collector's edition" on April 17th. The new version will feature an acoustic rendition of the record's first single, "The Diary of Jane"; an hour-long concert DVD filmed on February 11th in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; plus a foil slipcase and 3D artwork.
Breaking Benjamin will begin a run of headlining dates on Tuesday, March 20th, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
