Совсем недавно узнал, что такое Emo rap.

Emo Rap, or Hipster Hop, is a label for a style of hip-hop music that features emotional lyrics or incorporates elements of emo rock or emo culture. It is often used to describe any rap music that:

- Contains overly emotional or romantic lyrical content, as opposed to the modern stereotypical perception of hip-hop as aggressive, materialistic, and violent.
- Contains elements of emo rock in anything other than lyrics, including emo rock instrumentation or "emo" clothing on the artist.
The legitimacy and even the existence of the genre known as "emo rap" is debated. Many feel that it is an insulting term (much like nu metal) applied unjustly to hip-hop artist who are merely experimenting with other genres of music.

Music often labeled as "emo rap" tends to have many similarities with the genre of hip-hop music known as nerdcore. Some even consider emo rap to be a subgenre of nerdcore hip-hop.

Это очень близко к alternative hip-hop(тоже совсем не то, что сейчас навязывают СМИ)- где акцент ставится на повествовании(тож, ясен красен эмоциональном).
Вообще, занятная штука. А то по МТВ одни "телки, пушки, брюлики, баксы, тачки, умри и разбогатей, сука..."
