Also on 21.01.2001 I came to our church the 1st time!
I remember it!
it was very sunny day, and the service was on the 2nd floor yet (now after the reconstruction we haven't already had it).. also in those time we hadn't stained-glass windows, and they were from the (green) floor to the ceiling! there was so much light!.. and I remember, that the sermon was about Kingdom of Heaven as the greatest jewelry (Mth.13:44-46) I caught every word of the prist!.. and I counted days before the next Sunday.. Already in those day we got the invitation to the party, which would be on the flat of the German prist.. since the next week I began to attend youth-group.. then the konference of the USC.. and very soon I understood, that this is my church :)
before it I for a long time didn't understand, for what is church, and I disputed with my sister (with Dasha), and I said, that I believe in Christ, who is described by M.Bulgakov in his "Master and Margarita".. and that it's enough, and that I'm not need in any church.. but she said me 1 argument, that I can't be a christian without the Eucharist, and I can get it only in church..
I was agree with it.
And I began to look for..
I read different encyclopedias and other litirature about it, but the main was the report of my sister (Olya), wich she writed for her institute and where she told about different confessions in the Christianity.. then I chose lutheranism as the nearest for my vision.. because it was a concentration on the God's Word, and only..
But certaenly, I think it had influence, that Dasha already was in this church (she was there since the funeral of our father, as it was on the "German" cemetery, and the lutheran prist did the burial service.. It was in 1998 year..)
