Писала утром обзор к отчету по НИР. Читала статьи про разработку баз знаний, и пришла к выводу, что до добра это дело не доводит, ибо вот почему.

Читаю про Open Mind Common Sense Project:



The project was the brainchild of Marvin Minsky, Push Singh, and others.

Push Singh was slated to become a professor at the MIT Media Lab to lead the Commonsense computing group in 2007 until his suicide on Tuesday, February 28, 2006.



Читаю про Mindpixel Project:



The project was conceived by Chris McKinstry, a computer scientist and former Very Large Telescope operator for the European Southern Observatory in Chile... Chris McKinstry сommitted suicide on 23rd January, 2006 and the future of the project and the integrity of the data is uncertain.

Была б я Queen of Paranoia, я бы подумала, что это заговор, и кто-то нарочно убивает разработчиков СУБЗ и выставляет это за самоубийство. Хм.... А что, если и правда?....
