Some people think that virtual violence can provoke a real one.  Many a man suppose that computer games are safe outlet for aggression. The others just play. Let's consider these viewpoints and try to draw a conclusion.

To many parents of young children bloody episodes of DOOM or Mortal Combat (the first game hits showed outright violence) are immoral and terrible things. It is easy to understand parental feelings. They fear that their child will become offender after he plays cruel game.

 Nowadays the problem of computer dependence is very actual. Many developers say that computer games are harmless. Nevertheless we know many accidents when teenagers tried to kill each other because they believed that a person had several lives. However million players think that violent films are more dangerous than cruel games. Children can believe events which happen in movies but they realize that games are just figment of the imagination. Many people say that game helps them to relieve the stress and abstract from ordinariness.

We are used to think that violent games are perilous only for young children. It is not right! Computer games represent danger for adults too. Many of them were out of their minds after hours-long sitting in front of computers.

Unfortunately computer dependence hasn’t been learned yet as a social phenomenon. We can conjecture what influence computer games have on man’s psychic. But even now we can observe a certain degradation among young generation. Young people often forget about real life and begin to live in the world of fantasy.
