ha, thats the whole thing, sometimes you hear a music without realising what the words are saying and think its very soothing but in fact its very sad......

sometimes, but when i started undesanding words in english songs i become to love more music and appreciate it more but can name a very very few that disappear from my list of favorites .... coz the words were stupid

I adore texts of The Pink Floyd! I think they're brilliant!
but anyway I think that the majority of foreign songs are less informative, than Russian ones(I'm talking about "old school" )

in my opinion its the same i think russian songs have more feelings under or between the lines - this is very clear when you are trying to translate it to someone and where the actuall words meen nothing compering to the real meanings
anyway - sometimes i think if we were native english speakers then this would be different ..... maybe?
