Question: What can you tell me about the song, ’Totgeliebt’?
Bill: You should know that it was a song, which was just come, while we were in the studio. I started to sing it, and from the first second there was this huge energy in it, the real feeling. This song is one the songs which were born quite quickly, and we recorded it immediately. Basically it’s my favourite. There are moments in life where you feel your relationships is stucked, and nothing is like it was before. You see that person everyday, but you feel that all the things held you together aren’t there anymore. Love is dead, and you cannot do anything against that. You just see this coming, there isn’t anything to say to each other. All the things which braced them, aren’t there anymore. Just like I said, it’s one of my favourite songs, and I adore the music. We were during the process of the album making, to play nice melodies. It was really important for me. I wanted the guitar to sound hot, with a cool beat. I wanted a foxy rhythm. We just wanted to make strong songs, which I think we did. This whole thing was very important for me. Actually it was for all of us.
Tom: About this song I told many times to Bill that this love and death theme cames quite often, especially when it comes to long relationships. It’s a great example why you should get yourself into a long-term relationship.
Bill: No it’s not a good example, because it’s not like this in most the relationships.
Tom (speaks into Bill’s word): Whatever! I don’t like this. I don’t even wanna sing about this death loves.
Bill: It can even happened with friends as well. Imagine you run into a person, who was a great friend of yours, but now you don’t have any idea what to say to him. It cannot only happen with long-term relationships.
Question: Which songs is the favourite of yours?
Tom: At first, I have to clear things, and say: I don’t wanna comment my favourite song.
